Andraly loves to spend as much time as possible observing and being still in the natural world. His love of nature is what informs him in his guided meditations and farming practices.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science and he is an organic farmer. This connection to the land led him to become a Mindful Outdoor Guide through the Kripalu Center. He currently leads Nature Liberations and hosts retreats here on the farm.

Rachel has been farming at Open fArms Retreat long before we had a name. Over the last eight years she has joined us as a co-collaborator and creative energy on the farm.

Rachel is a licensed acupuncturist, certified yoga instructor and registered nurse. All of Rachel’s training has led her to the understanding that health resides in locally grown food and an individual’s connection to the land and universe as a whole. Rachel believes as individuals reestablish direct connections to food systems and communities greater peace may be found in an otherwise chaotic life.
